Internships

To ensure the student's support project during the internship period, POLYTECHNIQUE Monastir provides its students with an entire team for research and supervision of internships which take place within companies agreed with the school. It also provides them, in each internship site, with technical assistance represented by a company supervisor and an educational supervisor, generally one of the school's teachers.

During the training, two internships in the company will be compulsory:

In the 3rd year:  a 1-month worker internship Discovery of the company

In 4th year:  a 1-month professional internship Design and/or implementation of projects related to the specialty

In 5th year:  a 4-month end-of-studies project Implementation of all the skills acquired during schooling to carry out a project allowing one to project oneself into the professional world

Assistance in finding internships

In order to help students find internships, the internship management organizes “company days” with two main meetings:

  • From September to December on Wednesday afternoon: one to three companies are invited to meet students. They present their activities to them as well as the PFE to be filled.
  • In May, the internship management invites companies for an “Open Day” to meet students and interview them for summer internships (technician internships).

But often companies send an email to the Director of Internships to propose one or more internships, give the specifications, the proposal is then distributed to the students.
